A Pennsylvania woman rescued two kittens who were barely a few weeks old and who were in desperate need of immediate care.
Meanwhile, in a shelter, a little dog was suffering from the loss of her puppies. Her owners had abandoned her before she gave birth, and because she was seriously ill, she gave birth prematurely and none of her seven pups survived.
While she was in the hospital recovering, the dog Dorothy would do nothing but cry, look for her puppies, and grieve the fact that they were not with her.
