A terrible loss
Ember was brought in at the Atlanta Humane Society with a litter of newly-born. Unfortunately, though, they hadn't been born under good conditions and were all very sick.
Despite everyone's best efforts, it was only a matter of time before all of the babies passed away, leaving their mama cat all alone. The feline was left devastated, all alone despite the tender care the shelter workers could offer.
But then one day a little soul showed up at the shelter...
