Tabby
Probably the most common coloration of fur you'll find on a cat is tabby. Most often brown or grey, but also possible in shades of orange or cream, this fur pattern refers to the many unique stripes, spots, and other markings that cats like this have.
More specifically, you'll find many classic tabbies (with swirled markings on their sides), tiger tabbies (with long, tiger-like stripes), and spotted tabbies (with spots on their sides and belly).
