Understanding your cat
Dogs learn how to give their paw and so many other tricks, so you've probably wondered more than once why your smart little feline can't do the same thing.
Maybe you've even tried to teach them a couple of things: to jump up into your lap, to say hello, to stand up on two legs... And most likely, these attempts have not been very successful. Why?
English biologist John Bradshaw, who has studied cats extensively, points out that felines are easily stressed, so the most reasonable option for most is to simply train them only what is necessary to improve their interactions with the humans they live with and to give them a happier life
So how do you do it?
